Since his 2016 debut EP, M I S to the T, Birmingham native MIST has ascended the ranks of UK rap, becoming one of the country's most buzzed-about MCs with his deft rhymes and worldly lexicon. He's got an ear for poignant melodies, often from superproducer Steel Banglez; on early collaboration “Karlas Back,” MIST introduced uninitiated listeners to the Punjabi slang of his childhood neighborhood over Banglez's icy chimes.
