The self-proclaimed “coolest kid in Africa,” South African rapper and producer Nasty C draws influence from plenty of music originating outside of his native Durban, but few genres have influenced him in the way that American hip-hop has. "I chose these songs because I relate to them,” Nasty says. “They’re all either about something I do, did, have, had, or want, badly. Plus, they’re all super dope and very creative songs.”
