A trio featuring singer Andrew Wyatt and mega-hit producers Bloodshy & Avant, Miike Snow debuted in 2009 with a breezy yet weighty electro-pop album, rich with synthetic tones and anthemic choruses. While Bloodshy & Avant made their name concocting ear candy for Britney Spears and Kylie Minogue, with Wyatt they aim for something more midtempo and less grandiose. Wyatt’s voice occasionally recalls Sting, and Miike Snow come off as a cheerier Police living in a post-Gnarls Barkley world, where we all make the most of feeling crazy.
