In celebration of International Women’s Day 2024, Mexican DJ and producer, Pahua puts her distinctive spin on this installment of Razor-N-Tape’s In The Mix series, tapping into the one thing these uplifting sounds—from acts including Flamingo Pier, Joeski, Pablo Fierro, and more—have in common. “This mix is a collection of tracks that are combined for their rhythmic richness,” Pahua tells Apple Music. “I have always loved percussion. It is something that connects with us in our most primitive part and that, accompanied by other elements of house, gives a very fresh dance character. I chose music from artists that I admire and who have interesting remixes that have changed up the original tracks. I also include some songs by good friends.”
