In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was around 3 years old sitting down at our piano and my mother astonished that I had an innate odd talent to naturally start playing. Soon after my mother started taking piano lessons with me since I was too young to start by myself.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Carole King, Tapestry Eva Cassidy, Live at Blues Alley Fleetwood Mac, Rumours Super Deluxe Edition Tapestry showed me how powerful songs can be when they come straight from the soul.. Rumours is full of tension, heartbreak, and honesty. Live at Blues Alley is one of the most powerful examples of what it means to have a truly dynamic voice.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Sanctuary” I wrote this song for my cousin after he was diagnosed with glioblastoma brain cancer. This was a prayer and a song just to help my family get through this challenging period of our lives.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? When I was on The Voice. What a wild year, but after 17 years in Nashville I felt that I finally was able to reach new fans and get my story out to the world. It really helped me believe in myself again after several defeating years of my life
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? The list is truly endless… I feel like I haven’t even scratched the surface of things I want to accomplish. I truly believe I’m a vessel and I just want to use my gift to help people in a bigger way.
