In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I started a rap group in high school in 1998. We needed Instrumentals but those could only be found on vinyls then. I couldn't afford it and became frustrated. One day I randomly found Fruityloops on a friend's PC. There began my musical journey.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Daft Punk, Homework Hitoshi Sakimoto, Final Fantasy XII (Original Soundtrack) J Dilla, Donuts These albums completely changed my outlook on music and have a deep emotional connection with me since childhood. Homework was my elementary school soundtrack, Donuts was post high school, and FFXII my life soundtrack (Most played album in my life).
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Error: Nightmare (Corrupt Remix)” This is the song that ended my eternal imposter syndrome and gave me the courage to finally release music to the world as the main artist instead of producer for someone else. It's also my first attempt at electro as a lifelong hip-hop composer.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? In 2011 I sent a beat to Waka Flocka on twitter but no response. Months later I met him at an interview in Germany and told him about it. He said "I was looking for you forgot your @!". He opened his laptop and the mp3 of my beat was on his desktop.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Everything. Art is a never ending journey. Let's see what the universe has planned for me.
