In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Music has been part of my life ever since I was born. My mother was a concert pianist and my father was a jazz drummer. I started playing the piano when I was 4yrs old and it has been my passion ever since.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Ludovico Einaudi, Islands - Essential Einaudi I have a great love of the classics and Leif ove Andsnes is one of my favourite pianists. I'm also a great fan of Alexis Ffrench. He writes beautiful music and I love the way he plays. Fourplay play absolutely fantastic jazz.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Shimmer” I was playing the high notes of the piano and SHIMMER almost wrote itself. It was quite a magical experience. This beautiful minimalist, calm, shimmery music was created. I will always remember that moment.
