In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is sitting on the couch with my dad while he’s playing my favorite nursery rhyme, “Jesus Loves You”. I was tapping on the guitar along to the beat, and us singing together is one of my favorite memories ever.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Adele, 21 Eric Church, Chief Miranda Lambert, Revolution All three of these albums raised me. They crafted my love of all genres and made me want to start playing music myself. I remember being in the backseat of my mom’s truck singing together the top of my lungs to these songs!
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Hey Cowboy” A song of mine that is so special to me is, “Hey Cowboy”. This song is sentimental because it was one of the very first songs I ever wrote, at 12 years old. Seeing it come to life in the studio and all of you show it love means so much to me!
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Getting to play the Grand Ole Opry. TWICE!! The first time was so surreal! I sang background vocals for Beth Nielsen Chapman. The second time, I got to sing a few lead lines and the Opry band also let me take a banjo solo during our performance.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? As an artist, my bucket list grows bigger & bigger each day! With that being said, here’s three things on my bucket list: 1) Playing Red Rocks 2) Getting to open for Dolly Parton 3) Making my Grand Ole Opry debut as a solo artist
