In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Captain Jax- At school, I was learning the recorder. I went home one night, put on some music and decided to use the new recorder as a drumstick before it quickly broke and I had to explain to the school how the bottom had completely snapped off.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Mirror Mirror” This was the first song we ever wrote together! It came from a chorus lyric idea and from that we wrote the whole song. It was after a particular time of transphobia within the LGBTQ+ scene in Brighton and our experiences.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing some big festivals in the UK (Shambala, Bearded Theory, Rebellion and more) Sharing the stage with really inspiring people! Releasing our debut EP. Okay that's more than one, soz!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Definitely would love to play Japan and USA. They've always been dreams of ours! We are an ambitious bunch, so have plenty on the bucket list!
