In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first true appreciation for lyricism came from listening to the Drought 3 mixtape by Lil Wayne. From there, I started writing my own raps trying to emulate the cleverness he displayed in his verses.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Drake, Nothing Was the Same (Deluxe) Kanye West, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy Kendrick Lamar, To Pimp a Butterfly Kanye's approach to MBDTF showed me what could be possible in rap from a musical standpoint. NWTS marked a pivotal point in my life, and I appreciate it for being a timestamp to some good times. TPAB is a masterpiece in messaging and musicality.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Love It” This was the first song that showed me that I could make a hit. Granted the scale is small to what most musicians would consider a hit, but this song showed me that I could appeal to people outside of my immediate friend group.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Opening for Bryce Vine with the homie Dane Amar was an amazing experience, especially because I got to share the stage with some of my lifelong friends while also performing in front of the biggest crowd I've ever been in front of.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I just want to keep growing. I don't have lofty goals of being the biggest artist ever, but I want to be able to impact the lives of as many people as I can in a positive way. Non-specific, but that's my main goal, haha.
