English singer-songwriter dodie—aka Dorothy Miranda Clark—began her career with piano and ukulele covers before making her first original song video for “Rain” in 2011.
∙ Her huge social media following helped launch her self-released debut EP to No. 35 on the UK charts in 2016.
∙ With 500-plus videos to her name, dodie’s music has garnered nearly half-a-billion views.
∙ She collaborated with singer-songwriter Tom Walker on the title track from her third EP, Human, which hit No. 4 on Billboard’s Independent Albums chart.
∙ A voracious student of pop culture, she’s recorded covers of songs by a wide range of artists, including Edith Piaf, Judy Garland, twenty one pilots, and Justin Bieber.
∙ In 2019, “If I’m Being Honest” was nominated for the UK Independent Music Award for Best Song – Folk/Singer-Songwriter.
