In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember when I was about 4 or 5 years old, my parents took me on a trip to our hometown in southern Nigeria. We attended an event where there was a live band playing. I don't remember what song it was but I was super intrigued by the bassline.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Christopher Tin, Selections from Calling All Dawns - EP Christopher Tin, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, The Drop That Contained the Sea LINKIN PARK, Meteora (Deluxe Edition) I find the writing and soundscapes to be innovative and interesting. I especially love the way Christopher Tin blends orchestral music music with ethnic music from all over the world.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? In October 2024, I conducted a performance of my arrangement of the worship song, 10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord, Oh My Soul) featuring 1,000 singers in Lagos, Nigeria. This was an extraordinary experience for both myself and the singers.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'm yet to release an album of original compositions. I'll also love to conduct a diverse orchestra and choir performing my innovative compositions
