Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Chokehold” To reflect Palestine's history of land theft and occupation, I wrote a song with a melody that gets smaller: from an octave to a half step. The lyrics reflect a personalized retelling of such history, particularly that Palestine is in a chokehold.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? We held our first concert at Rhizome DC on January 11th, 2024. It was so packed that people had to stand outside and listen. The energy and passion everyone brought were incredible. You could feel the desire for change.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Ceasefire now. End Apartheid now. Free Palestine.
