Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember sitting on my mom’s lap while she played piano and let me pick the songs. That bond sparked my love for music and grew into an obsession with hip hop sampling and eventually composing for film.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Afrika Bambaataa, Soulsonic Force, Planet Rock Hans Zimmer, Gladiator (Soundtrack from the Motion Picture) Soundtrack from the Motion Picture Sade, The Best of Sade (Remaster) Sade’s voice and band are unmatched, smooth and timeless. Planet Rock flipped everything for me with its synths, vocoder, and 808. Gladiator pulled me in for the production, especially Lisa Gerrard’s vocal tone and texture.
