Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Fifth-grade chapel service in New Orleans. Sister Mary Anastasia told us when we sing, we pray twice to God...and I've been singing loud and proud ever since.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Chuck Mangione, Feels So Good Eagles, Hotel California Prince & The Revolution, Purple Rain Soundtrack from the Motion Picture These were all pivotal albums for me as a performer and songwriter. They each embody outstanding elements of good storytelling, engaging and melodic riffs, and cool, creative musicianship. I shoot to have these qualities in my own body of work.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Songbirds (Live)” Songbirds is a bittersweet anthem of heartbreak and resilience, with vivid storytelling and melancholic imagery. I wrote it instantly when I stumbled on the scrap of an old, untitled poem I'd written. The melody and vibe just all poured out.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing at Gruene Hall in New Braunfels, Texas! I came there ready to rile up the crowd with some of my faster, poppin' songs, only to find that the crowd there was ready to sit back and listen to the songs and storytelling. It was very cool!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? A European tour - I need to play across the pond, especially in Ireland, France, and Scotland!
