In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest musical memory is writing my first song in the 4th grade. It was crazy to me how I could put together words and have it make sense and try to rap it as fast as I could. I then performed this song to my classmates and everybody went crazy.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? 2Pac, Me Against the World J. Cole, 4 Your Eyez Only Nas, Illmatic 2pac's and Nas' albums inspired and influenced my sound and who I am as an artist today. 2pac with his delivery and passionate words that can be felt through his music and Nas' lyricism that gets you thinking. J. Cole in current time embodies both.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Roots” I cherish and love this song dearly because it highlights how I grew up, coming from two different backgrounds and figuring out which one I resonated with the most. It often felt like a divide and this song tackles it to a greater degree.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My most memorable moment in my career was receiving a message from a listener expressing how my music saved him from committing suicide. From that day on I knew that I had a greater purpose in this world.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? One day I hope to perform in a sold out arena. I would love to collab with the artists of this generation; Kendrick Lamar, J.Cole, and Drake to name a few. I think that would be dope.
