Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest memory with rap was when I was 6 years old, I was lost with my Aunty Jenni, and to pass the time while we drove around aimlessly I was freestyling. So many hilarious things were said, none of it was good, but I remember laughing hard.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Andy Mineo, Never Land II Lyrical_Levite, Candor NF, CLOUDS (THE MIXTAPE) These projects are the reason I listen/make music. I love music that displays the heart of the artist. I have lots of respect for artists who are raw and vulnerable, letting music be therapy, and these albums do exactly that. No cookie-cutter crap.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Dreams of Life (feat. Briawnuh)” Dreams of life is special to me because I made with my brother and sister. It's about dreaming of a better life in midst of being depressed and fighting suicidal ideation. To have loved ones come together on this song brings me to tears every time.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The best moment of my career so far has been how it has opened doors for me to speak life to others. Putting my story out there has encouraged people to reach out and ask for help, or share their powerful stories, and to me that's what music is for.
