• Navaan Sandhu trained as a singer at the Gurmeet Bawa Sangeet Academy in Amritsar—the school of the renowned folk vocalist—and spent years honing his craft independently before bursting onto the global Punjabi scene.
• He dropped “In Demand” in 2018, the first of several hit singles with UK producer Manni Sandhu—the pair followed up with “Special Edition”.
• Sandhu swaps potent verses over instantly recognisable Punjabi hooks. “Do Pal”, a smash collab with Manni Sandhu and Bakshi Billa, unleashes energising UK garage beats, while “2 Asle” draws deftly on old-school hip-hop.
