Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My best friend and I would record ourselves recording into a microphone hanging in a bathoom, pretending that it was a fancy Memphis recording studio like we saw in Johnny Cash documentaries.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bob Schneider, Lovely Creatures Noah Gundersen, A Pillar of Salt Train, Drops of Jupiter I absolutely love the production on Drops of Jupiter, Lovely Creatures and A Pillar of Salt. There are so many sleek, moody details in the production including muted trumpet, synth and soft background vocals.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Chief Joseph” The song "Chief Joseph" started with a book recommendation titled "Chief Joseph and the Flight of the Nez Perce," by author Kent Nerburn. I researched the story by traveling to rural Idaho and writing some of the song along the Clearwater River.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I've toured the UK four times at this point in my career and have really enjoyed the opportunity to play internationally. The folk music scene in Europe is so strong and I take alot of influence from artists and fans in the UK and mainland Europe.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would really love to put together a Nashville-songwriter round roadshow. It woulld be great to take the live songwriter experience on the road throughout the US and bring what we have going in Nasvhille to the rest of the country!
