In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My mother knows I’ve been singing since I could make noise but one of my earliest musical memories was while I was in preschool. We would sing the ABC’s, any song to fill the silence during car rides in our Chevy Cavalier that had no radio.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Christina Aguilera, Christina Aguilera Erykah Badu, Baduizm Michael Jackson, Thriller All three are records I can play all the way through no skips and vibe with from start to finish. Michael was the first performing artist I wanted to see live and Christina challenged the way I use my voice. Erykah, a fellow Pisces, just gets me.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Releasing my first single, “That’s My Baby” is huge for me. I’ve waited for so many different reasons and taking action has been a huge relief. I worked hard to get to this point and it’s motivation to keep doing just that.
