U.K.-based rapper, producer, and songwriter skaiwater makes yearning, introspective music that takes influence from pop, rap, and emo as well as dance music and rave culture. They collaborated with a then-obscure Lil Nas X in 2018, and continued developing their sound with singles and EPs such as 2019's After God Fear Eve. They broke through with 2022's Jersey club-influenced "#miles," and a remix featuring Lil Uzi Vert was included on their 2022 mixtape rave.
