Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. A first public gig ever, in the 7th Street Entry (basement club under Minneapolis' famous 1st Avenue), kicking the cord out of a pedal so the entire back half of our set was unintentionally distorted. It did not go well. Someone in the crowd HISSED.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Beach House, Teen Dream Paul McCartney & Wings, Band On The Run (2010 Remaster) Various Artists, Once (Music from the Motion Picture) Band on the Run is Mac at his versatile, wildly influential (to me) best, The Swell Season is about as analogous to our music as anyone, and Beach House, a recent discovery, is immersive and profoundly beautiful.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Frost” We've been falling more in love with developing songs that have a slow build to intensity, In "Frost," we hope listeners feel the dynamic change from beginning to end is particularly powerful against lyrics that are rather spare & stark.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My most memorable moments in my musical career have been release parties. The show of support from fans for labors of love turn the events into what I'm in music for in the first place: getting back the energy I put into it.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I've stopped evaluating my music career in terms of anything other than "getting back the energy I put into it," and so can't point to a specific "bucket list" item. I just want to continue making music & hope people like hearing it!
