Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I grew up in Boynton Beach, Florida, and would attend a music festival known as "SunFest". Ma really put music in my forefront taking me to see James Brown, Parliament, Rick James, Chaka Khan, Snoop Dogg & Wiz, Kendrick Lamar, and many others.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Common, The Dreamer, The Believer Frank Ocean, Blonde Kanye West, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy They shaped my artistry early on honestly. With MBDTF & TDTB dropping during my high school years, and Blonde during college, I appreciate their full replay value and length. From lyrics to production, few projects command your attention like these.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Vapors (feat. Kill$et)” I recorded this song in the dead of night with a group of guys that I still work closely with to this day. You never know who you're going to make the best music with, so always be open to new experiences and meeting new people in your city.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Being able to travel while working on music has always been my most memorable moments as a Producer. Being in new cities and working with new artists provides a different level of creativity and expression through music.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I definitely want to have a bigger role in this industry when it's all said and done. Not necessarily a mainstream role, but a more impactful one to show young producers just like me that you can make it in this game no matter what. Maybe a Grammy...
