Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was driving down a highway in New Mexico with my father. "Sing a Song" by Earth Wind and Fire came on the radio. Immediately I was transported, the utter joy and excitement I felt overtook me. Many years later that I realized how special this was.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? D'Angelo, Voodoo Mac DeMarco, This Old Dog The Beatles, Let It Be These albums changed and shaped my life in their own way. Voodoo made me want to be a recording artist. This Old Dog showed me that you can be a direct, honest and heartfelt singer-songwriter in the 21st century. Let it Be reminds me to have fun.

This song comes from the sort of "trance state" that I can enter while making music. I can just channel pure emotion and impulse and end up with a finished song. It took many years of practice to be able to do this while recording simultaneously.
