Angela Pang doesn't only share her talent in the recording studio. In 1995 the Hong Kong native abruptly applied the brakes six years into her career to become a full-time vocal instructor. Indeed, Pang's strong, clear soprano and lush, polished arrangements could serve as textbook examples of the adult-contemporary genre. With the melodic sensibility of the ABBA fan she is, Pang specializes in open-hearted balladry and midtempo optimism sung in Cantonese, Mandarin, and other tongues.
