Rampa (Gregor Sütterlin) is one of the founders of Berlin's Keinemusik, a label whose name translates as "not music". But take that with a grain of salt: his rolling, groove-heavy productions deftly balance the stripped-down rhythms of minimal and tech house with the moody chords and emotional melodies of classic deep house. He's turned out some of his most affecting work with Hercules & Love Affair's Nomi Ruiz, backing her smoky voice with swelling bass and piano; with frequent production partner Re.You, meanwhile, he's racked up numerous anthems that reverberate from L.A. to Ibiza and beyond.
