Frontman Cormac Neeson has a voice (and mane) to rival that of Axl Rose, and he wails with aplomb over his band's heavy, blues-infused stomp. It's no surprise that they've won praise from Jimmy Page and Def Leppard's Joe Elliott; since they released their debut album Rise in 2007, The Answer have exploited rock's possibilities in ever more complex, thrilling ways. In 2015, Raise a Little Hell saw them venturing into mature Americana without sacrificing the sharpness of their assault.
