All Heaven's Angels, Pt. 3

When I became the key

And passed through the open door

When all was finally revealed

I found myself wanting more

Here just floating in the umbra enveloping

The silence was deafening

When I questioned all I had learned

No mysteries had been unsealed

No answers were returned

Here just floating in the umbra extrapolating

while all my matter becomes incapacitating

When all my elements dispersed

And I become one with the void

Still nothing was revealed

Even though my existence was destroyed

Here floating in the umbra waiting for the reckoning

When everything I was has gone

And all memories assimilated

All that's left behind is pure thought

With abhorrence extricated

Here just floating in the umbra in a state of nonbeing

Devoid of light but still remaining all seeing

When I though all was lost

And my attempts had been in vain

A voice split through the night

And called me by my true name

Here just floating in the umbra now understanding

Heard a single whispered word

And all came became crystal clear

Who I was and what I am

Would eventually disappear

Here weightless in the great unbound

My floating makes the sweetest sound

The door was always there to see

Beyond eternity

Out in the distance

I am the echo of those who have always been

Out from nonexistence

I am the words of those stuck in the between

And in those words

All heaven's angels are revealed to be just me

I am the sun

I am the moon

I am the air

I am the fire

Of everything that has ever been

I am the dark

I am the light

I am the stars

I am the dust

And everything that feeds the machine

Eventually the future will become the past

Eventually your life's archives will be amassed

And when the illumination slips in to overtake the night

You will become a being of pure light

And pass beyond
