He’s held down by his hair

As the blood runs from his mouth

He’s regretting standing up

he’s regretting speaking out

Swallowing his tears

He hears a small voice say

this descendant of Goliath stands as a hazard to his health

with spaghetti arms he swings as he digs his own grave

unfunny jokes, cold hearted folks

He marches like a soldier off to war but in the most casual kind of way

All her friends are laughing in his face,

 every eye is on her as she ponders his request

ten/six years of reputation and she throws it all away

she take’s his hand and they dance with nervous grace

the onlookers jaws hang down amazed

her prissy princess pals all stand disgraced

the queen and the jokers wild embrace

following your heart is never safe

its okay to give yourself a break
