The kids are swimming

in the pond

They laugh and scream high

while liners fly

The bees are busy

They have the flair

for scent of flowers

that fills the air

I see my grandma

she smiles so sweet

she looks at young Steve

Who hits on Eve

A mouse is running

Chased by the cat

The dog is sleeping

Upon my lap

Summer at the farm

gives me peace

time feels slower here

Make all at ease

Soon we all will dance

the night is near

but it's summertime

the light will still be here

All down the hillside

Like cotton balls

the sheep are lazy

till grandpa calls

It´s dinner time now

under the trees
