May we be better humans.
That's a prayer I had to make
When I saw that I could trust
An escort more than my wife and
Robbers more than my leaders.
Don't blame me for having a messed up mind
You won't be any different if you had my experiences
They're stuck to my mind.
They'll stick to yours too,
Some coming with scars on your body
To give you blasts from the past.
We've all been inspired by lies,
Driven by filthy misinterpretations of lines,
Now, we don't have pleasant places anymore.
No green pastures to lie on anymore,
Even scared to have a table in the presence of our enemies,
Because it could end with us taking a bullet.
And I know we said, you can't be everything for everyone,
But don't be that parent who only pay rent anually and give themselves a tap on the back
Because they break the fast in the morning and keep lunching plates of food at the children until it's time for dinner,
They give themselves a pat on the back.
You think having well-fed children is the only goal?
Check how well-fed their souls are and rate yourself.
May we be better humans.
Or were we deaf when it was recorded that we are gods?
We are gods who rule from wherever we sit in our little ways.
We are gods who hold the answers to the prayers of our neighbours.
We are gourds that posses spirits and souls, see were trinities.
We are guards who should protect the beauty of humanity.
May our ears be open next time I say it.
One thing must kill a man, but may it not be a man
May we be pillars for our brothers, never leaving them in their weaknesses
May we not chicken out instead of fishing out ways to fry our beef with men
And may we be ashamed of our sins
May we Marvel when a vengeance seeking man in bloodthirsty
And may our leagues seek for Justice like fishermen in the sea
Forget your hands and legs
Humans are more than that
Forget your mouth and eyes
Humans are made of spirits and souls too
You can cut off of hands, pluck out your eyes
If they cause you to errrrr...
I mean, they're secondary, right?
And if we see a man lose balance,
May we catch him before he falls
Except what he needs is on the floor
May we not hurt others with our flaws
May we take responsibilities for a faults
And may we be strengthened by our falls
May we be better humans all in all
