Cross To Bear

It’s hard to say how I’m feeling, I just don’t wanna get out of bed today

Cos I feel like im wasting my life, just throwing it all away

They say I’ve got the time, time is on my side,

But I feel like I’m all alone in my very own childish fight.

You see the thing is I’m never on my own, I’m surrounded but I’m all alone in my head.

 All I need is a friend

They say they need me, but what is it for, cos I’m longing for something more for myself.

We’re all crying for help.

You’ve got everybody laughing at your joke, you’ve got everybody hitting up your phone,

But when it really matters are they there?

Are they part time or do they care?

I told everybody that I’m going by soon, I’ve tied my desk and I’ve emptied my room,

Has anybody asked if I’m still there, I guess this is my cross to bear.
