In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
When I was a kid I was scared of the dark so my Dad gave me a tape player and made me a selection of mix tapes so I could play them as I drifted off to sleep. Music made me feel safe even in the dark, so I could fall asleep without the light on. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Amy Winehouse, Frank
Arctic Monkeys, Favourite Worst Nightmare
Stevie Wonder, Stevie Wonder: The Definitive Collection
Stevie Wonder has been always been one of my favourites he was played a lot whilst I was growing up.
Amy Winehouse has an incredible voice, she is a singer I have aspired to ever since I began to sing. Arctic Monkeys are my fav band in the world. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Family”
This is a track I wrote about missing home after moving out at 18. It's a really personal song and makes my mum cry without fail (happy tears I hope)! I just hope you guys enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoy singing it! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Supporting Steve Rogers, son of rock legend Paul Rogers, at the Salty Dog pub back in 2017. I performed an entire set of my original songs and got a great response from the audience which was a real confidence boost for my songwriting! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
One day I REALLY want to:
A) Smash a guitar on stage
B) Stage dive into the crowd
