In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My mom buying me my first guitar, a kid size Dean acoustic, for $65. I learned to play my first chords, scales and progressions on that guitar and it stuck with me for the first ten years of my playing. I still think to that guitar when I write now.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Eric Clapton, Unplugged (Deluxe Edition) [Live] Jack Johnson, En Concert (Live) Joe Cocker, With a Little Help from My Friends Between the guitar work, lyricism and overall feel these albums are, I think, the three that have most inspired my songwriting in recent years. I love live albums and the connection I feel with the songs in their raw space, so these really inspire me
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “All These Horizons” The EP was a big decision for me. I went back and forth on the songs for a long time, asking myself what I should do, which is at the heart of this song. I think life often has moments where I ask what choices I should make, this song speaks to that.
