A premier player of the resonator guitar, Andy Hall has enjoyed a successful career as a member of progressive bluegrass specialists the Infamous Stringdusters and released a string of respected solo albums. Also a singer and songwriter, Hall made his solo debut in 2004 prior to forming the group which has since gone on to become one of the prominent and best-loved string bands in the genre with numerous Grammy Award nominations and a win for their acclaimed 2017 album Laws of Gravity. Amid international tours and a busy Stringdusters recording schedule, Hall has continued to make music of his own, including 2021's experimental A Universe Within and 2023's virtuosic Squareneck Soul.
