In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of the moments I remember most vividly is when I wrote my first piano piece as a child. It was just a few notes but I was so excited, I was creating something of my own. I remember I even played it at school during a performance. What a thrill!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Queen, A Night at the Opera Radiohead, OK Computer Sigur Rós, Valtari Radiohead and Queen were my first musical love. I remember the first listen for both of them and was entranced. They have always been a great source of inspiration. Valtari is a wonderful sounding album that captures me every time I listen to it.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Breath” I chose this track because it opens my first album. I wrote it thinking about a time to pause, to breathe, from everything that can weigh us down in life. I think breathing is the first step to recovering a deep connection with ourselves.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Definitely the most exciting moment of my career is when I saw my first album released on all streaming platforms. Finally my dream had come true!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Of course, keep writing, keep publishing. I still have so many stories to tell, so much music to write!
