Swirling apocalyptic beats with a vicious delivery that matches his raucous bars, Baby Kia is the sound of unfiltered aggression. Born Khari Jahmill Hoard in 2005, the Atlanta native emerged with "Let's Play a Game," a snarling 2023 single coated in guttural shouts and impenetrable menace—a combination that’s at once familiar and completely new. He doubled down on that chaotic energy with his debut project, Kia World, and he expanded it further on the aptly titled follow-up, HELL CAN'T SAVE YOU. Released in 2024, the 13-track project plays out like an adrenaline rush, checking in at a terse 27 minutes that doesn't allow you to escape its intensity. Combining dystopian soundscapes with a Southern drawl and the irrepressible force of New York drill, Baby Kia embodies street rap that's as primal as it is futuristic.
