In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Listening to NIN’s Pretty Hate Machine made me want to write music. It consumed me, and still does today. It influenced my music, the early works especially. As I continued to write music, I explored other musical influences and grooves.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Daniel Barenboim, Mahler: Symphony No. 5 Nine Inch Nails, Pretty Hate Machine (Remastered) Various Artists, The Crow (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) Pretty Hate Machine got me through high school. The Crow soundtrack was the soundtrack to my late teens and early 20s. The Mahler Symphonies, and especially No. 5, are powerhouses of musical tension and release that all music strives to accomplish.
