In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my first ever gigs in an emo band, way back in 2005 in Australia, I decided to do a big jump from the 6' drum riser. I landed on the side of my foot, fell into the bass player, and we both proceeded to take out an amp stack.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Get Better” Get Better is the first, proper queer 'here I am' song that we've put out. It's trying to encapsulate that feeling of not masking anymore, and finding the people who accept you for who you are.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing onstage at Gorilla for Manchester Punk Festival in 2025 was a bit of a 'pinch me I must be dreaming' moment. Not only playing a stage that we've watched some phenomenal bands play over the year, but having people actually there watching us!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Easy - supporting Los Campesinos!, playing a big UK summer festival, and having a track produced by Bartees Strange. Those are the three bucket list items. We could die happy then.
