In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember pretending to be Michael Jackson and performing for my peers in elementary school. I think I was singing "I want you back" by The Jackson 5.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Frank Ocean, channel ORANGE Janet Jackson, The Velvet Rope Miguel, All I Want Is You I choose all these albums because they are very influential to my sound. I grew up listening to all three of these albums all the time. My mom put me onto Janet and Miguel and I found Frank through my friends and all the Odd Future stuff.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Truancy” This song is very special to me because I made everything. I made the beat, wrote out the song, and recorded it all in the same day.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Seeing my siblings sing my music has probably been the most memorable moment so far.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Yes so much! I want to sell out the Roxy, Madison Square Garden, the moon. I want with Tupac, Biggie, and Beethoven!
