In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My parents took me on a trip to Miami when I was about 4. There was a radio station live at a block party that was hosting a singing contest. I sang my little heart out to 'If I Ain't Got You' by Alicia Keys and won the whole thing.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alkaline, New Level Unlocked Drake, Views Melanie Fiona, The MF Life (Deluxe Edition) These 3 albums sum up my childhood in the Greater Toronto Area. Growing up with immigrant parents, I had influences of reggae and dancehall that always impacted my music. It created another facet to my sound to compliment my raw R&B roots.

Listening to it brings me mentally right back to how I felt when I wrote it. I've grown up so much since then but you can tell the emotion is true. No matter how much time passes it still feels like just yesterday.
