Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a toddler, I would sit with my father, on this bright orange carpet in our basement. He would play records, as I flipped through the album covers and look at the artwork. At that tender age I was imprinting on the Jazz and soul records would play.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? A Tribe Called Quest, Midnight Marauders Quasimoto, The Unseen Souls of Mischief, 93 'til Infinity I was instantly intoxicated by 93 'til at a time when violence and degradation dominated much of hip-hop , Souls were delivering finely crafted clever lyrics over beautiful melodies and uplifting jazz loops. Madlib my 2nd fav producer.... Q-Tip is #1

Tell us why you chose this song. “Pennfield” I named this song for the street that one of my longest standing best friends, grew up living on. This song is representative of a time when I had less music-making tools to use, and so I had to be more resourceful. The sound is more simple, but pure
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I'm part of a collective of music producers, called Sidechain Society (we are dispersed throughout the U.S. and the world). We gathered at a house to connect and make music together. The friendships that were formed have been a blessing.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My biggest bucket list item, as a producer, is to collaborate with someone from the Hieroglyphics Crew. Their music and love for music have inspired me for nearly a lifetime. It would be amazing to make music for them.
