Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was able to fool my first piano teacher into believing I could read music by asking him to play the song he wanted me to learn. Reading sheet music was difficult and boring; learning by listening to my teacher play the song was easier and more fun.

Tell us why you chose this song. “On an Island” Every time I hear this song, I remember watching David Gilmour playing it at the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam. At the time, I was Musical Director at Boom Chicago, and my boss's wife worked at the venue; she got us VIP tickets. Wonderful!
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I was Musical Director of The Amber Ruffin Show on NBC Peacock. We wrote a new featured song for almost every episode. For one episode, I was in the show, improvising a song with Amber and Tarik.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I wold love to create an immersive video presentation of my music that could travel the world as an installation in the chill out area of electronic music festivals.
