Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was at a dance hall party in the 80s, watching my dad DJ. I remember watching the whole crowd dancing in sync. From that point I was always attracted to music.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? John Mayer, Room for Squares Post Malone, Hollywood's Bleeding Slipknot, Slipknot That first Slipknot record changed the way I thought about heavy music. It help me build my style. Room for Squares helped me learn the importance of good song writing. Hooks, strong lyrics, a clear message. Post Malone, is my constant go to!
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “It's Just a Matter of Time” I love all my songs but this one is special. It's really one of the most positive songs I've written, and the fun thing is that this song is my top streaming track. I like to think, that means people are feeling more positive out there.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Creating the Dax Henri catalog 100% on my own. I've always worked with bands, having others to rely on. Learning to create it all on my own has been so memorable and humbling. Practice, practice, practice. There's no way around it.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Tour the world, playing the music I love. meeting new people and learning everything I can about the world.
