Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I started piano at age 5 but after a few years I thought it would be great to play the flute. The orchestra director gave me a flute to try, then a trumpet, and finally a french horn, I couldn't make a sound. I tried the viola and I feel in love.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on AppleĀ Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bill Evans, Tony Bennett, The Tony Bennett / Bill Evans Album (Bonus Track Version) Jean-Luc Ponty, Imaginary Voyage Mahavishnu Orchestra, The Inner Mounting Flame (with John McLaughlin) I have so many favorite albums but I chose Jean-Luc Ponty Imaginary Voyage because it inspired me to play jazz as did The Inner Mounting Flame. Tony Bennett/Bill Evans albums are so beautiful, plus I was lucky enough to play with Tony Bennett!

Mike Lewis did an arrangement and wrote a fantastic middle section with horns and strings. I played many disco recording sessions in the past for Mike, this captures that 70's vibe.
