California's Fana Hues makes sparse, beat-driven pop that moves deftly between sultry R&B, rock, psychedelia, and hip-hop. A singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist with an eclectic musical past, she came up playing in her family's band and even toured as part of a musical theater group before launching a solo career with 2021's Hues. Following collaborations with Tyler, The Creator and THEY., Hues delivered her sophomore album, 2022's Flora + Fana. Her unusual blend continued to evolve on tracks like "Paper Tigers" and "Moth" from her 2024 album Moth.
