The co-owner of Overgrind Records, Houston rapper FDAMusic was born Fadi Abouabsi in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. He moved to Lebanon at the age of seven, then Texas at the age of ten. He was 18 when he formed Overgrind with his partner, B-Luce, in 2004, but it took the MC ten years to release his own material, as his debut album, Made It, appeared in 2014. The album's hit single, "Trap House," quickly earned half a million views when it was uploaded to the Net. A second LP, Fame, landed that same year and spawned the single "I Know It" featuring Kevin Gates. He hit the road in 2016 supporting Scarface on the veteran rapper's U.S. tour. ~ David Jeffries
