Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Where it all began with my first guitar. I was about 14 or 15 years old and I remember just studying the instrument and how it worked and being completely obsessed. I dreamed of playing Metallica riffs but didn't mind Jason Aldean songs either.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Bitter (feat. Kayleigh Clark)” "Bitter" is a song about battling my memories of people who have abandoned me in this life and whether I should keep their memories or not. Kayleigh really brought that other side of the argument to life. It's by far one of my best articles of work.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Hearing my songs on the radio. I was riding in the truck with my dad and received a message that a station in Dallas, TX was playing one of my singles so we found them online. Hearing the DJ read my bio and hearing my song on air was surreal.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? It would definitely be performing on stage with either of my heroes. Either with Aaron Lewis, playing a sad one like "Excess Baggage" acoustically OR one of the more energetic songs with Chris Young like "Save Water, Drink Beer".
