Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest influence came from my dad, a jazz guitarist, who introduced me to jazz and Black music early on. Growing up in Detroit, J Dilla was always in the air. The soul and depth shaped my music and perspective, blending genres with intention.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Common, Like Water For Chocolate Dwele, Subject Erykah Badu, Baduizm These albums introduced me to a sound that was intentional, spiritual, and deeply rooted in hip-hop. It’s a perfect blend of neo-soul and raw emotion, and it shaped my perspective, creating the foundation for the neo-soul genre in my life.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Slum Villages” It's my favorite song because it perfectly combines my flow, wit, rhymes, and articulation. It reflects where I'm from and embodies the essence of my style, raw, authentic, and deeply connected to my roots, my influences, and my personal journey.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments in my career was touring for two years, selling out shows across New York independently. Connecting with fans and seeing the music come to life on stage created unforgettable experiences that solidified my passion.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To tour overseas, sharing my message and sound with larger audiences. Expanding my reach globally and connecting with people from different cultures is something I’m determined to do, pushing my music to new heights and new listeners.
