What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Beyoncé, Lemonade Jeff Buckley, Grace Kendrick Lamar, DAMN. Each of these albums left me in awe and relit my artist's fire after listening. Each time I go back to these works I am able to appreciate a new track or accent that I didn't catch before. These artists changed the game in their respective genres.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Feeling Good, Smoking Better (feat. Samuri West)” I had this chorus written for a while and after a show with Samuri, we took a bottle from the venue and went back to her house and I wrote the bridge and she wrote her verse and it was so cool to embody the energy of the song in the writing process.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? All of the testimonies of my impact in my listeners' lives. I've had people tell me my music has inspired them to make their own, it has been a comfort in dark times, and a catapult in good times. That's all I've ever wanted as an artist.
